a week agoI came here for dinner after visiting the art museum, and ordered an Iraqi kebab sandwich and a half-portion of the Palestinian cucumber salad. I also ordered a house chai to drink. The sandwich was good and decently flavorful with a nice citrusy sauce. The salad was simple, but also tasty. The chai unfortunately didn't have much spice flavor. While the food was decent, this place lacks in service. The food was slow to come out, although the restaurant wasn't very busy, and the service wasn't particularly friendly. When I went to pay the cashier just added up all the prices in her head, not even looking at the menu for the prices or using the cash register before plugging it into the card reader. As a result I was overcharged by about $10, which I didn't notice until after I had already left. No matter how good the cause is, this is a very shoddy business practice and customers should not be left guessing how much they really owe because the restaurant staff can't be bothered to keep proper records.

a week agoA lovely hidden gem, perfect for the first visit to Cleveland. Staff are super friendly, atmosphere very cozy, and food is delicious. You can tell the owner puts a lot of love and care into his art and the dishes.

a week agoMy friends and I came up from Toronto for the weekend and decided to stop by Algebra Tea House, and we’re glad we did. I had the iced Yemen latte with cardamom and a falafel wrap both were fantastic. The latte was refreshing and perfectly balanced, and the falafel wrap was fresh, flavorful, and filling. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed, making it a great place to unwind and catch up with friends. Definitely a spot worth visiting, and one we’ll be recommending to others. Looking forward to stopping by again on a future trip.

2 months agoOne of my favorite, if not favorite place in Cleveland. Delicious, authentic Palestinian food and drink, kind staff with an amazing one of a kind peaceful, treehouse like atmosphere. The first time I went here I had a brief chat with the owner who gave me a Gaza necklace. Whether you’re from Cleveland, just visiting, or have never been here at all I implore you to check this beautiful place out. 🇵🇸🕊️❤️

3 months agoAbsolutely incredible middle eastern cuisine with a special focus on Palestinian dishes. The iraqi kebab sandwich was bursting with flavor and the harissa offered a nice kick without being too overwhelming. The hummus is the best I’ve ever tasted. Bar none. Silky smooth and creamy, not gritty at all. The zataar and olive oil was so good to eat on pita- warm and earthy- somewhat reminiscent of oregano but also completely different!! The strawberry mango lassi was so refreshing (I did not taste much mango though). The decor inside is so eclectic and quirky, with a strong emphasis on Palestinian pride and heritage! I loved all the weird and different seating and the homemade mugs I’ve been wanting to go here for years but put it off because of how awful parking is in Little Italy but it turns out you go through a narrow driveway and there are around 6-7 spots in the back!

7 months agoBeautiful place with a great message that we truly love to support🤍 But honestly, the food & drinks were below average. Our drinks came cold and with the wrong flavors, the shakshuka was oily and lacked salt, and the pastries seemed to be made with ready-made bread that had a tough texture. We enjoyed the atmosphere, but sadly, the breakfast was disappointing. it’s frustrating to pay for food you can’t even eat 😅 Hope they improve the quality soon!

10 months agoCan’t believe this gem in the middle of little Italy Cleveland. Palestine family’s home recipes fresh from the grill to your table. I’m from Michigan (middle eastern food center of America) and this shawarma was incredible. Food 5/5 Service 4/5 Atmosphere 5/5
